Global architecture group Buchan has appointed Paul Harrison as principal of the firm’s Adelaide studio.
Harrison joined Buchan’s Melbourne studio in 2005 before moving to Adelaide in 2010. He has contributed to major Buchan developments in Adelaide over the past decade, including the upcoming Sky City redevelopment, Burnside Village and Rundle Place.
“Paul has built a resume that encompasses more than 15 years of solid experience in retail, hotel and hospitality and mixed-use architecture,” said Bruce Shaw, Buchan Group managing principal.
A statement from Buchan praised Harrison’s leadership qualities and open and honest communication, coupled with his hands-on design approach.
“Clients put their trust in me to deliver their most complex and large-scale projects,” said Harrison. “I like working with clients to communicate our design ideas that generate excitement and realise their aspirations.”
